Recently had a water line blow in the house in the middle of night. The team at ACE were referred by another contractor that we know personally. Contacted ACE. They returned the call within 20 mins. Had a plumbing technician out within 90 mins. He Located and repaired the leaking water line immediately. Gordon (our tech) was incredibly fast, professional, and answered all of the many questions we had! In addition to handling the immediate problem he also recommended we look at upgrading the entire water line system in the house to replace the Poly-B. The quote was fast, and extremely well priced. I would not hesitate to recommend ACE as your Plumbing experts!
Great service
As an asthmatic, I occasionally have been house bound due to smoke from forest fires and even some nearby grass fires. Being stuck at home, I would still get the smell of the smoke and, at times, even just that smell would trigger an asthma attack.
I needed something to improve my home air quality so I spoke with Jack Devetten at Ace Plumbing. He suggested a whole house HEPA air cleaner. It includes UltraViolet light and Photocatalytic filter. I was happy to see that it was UV-C light and I know that UV-C is used to disinfect items and air. So not only am I getting cleaner air in the house, microorganisms are being removed too.
We agreed to his suggestion and scheduled the install.
I have not used ACE before, so was really blown away from the great customer service from the scheduler and the installer. I received a text the day before the install giving me the heads up of the agreed upon time. On the morning of the install, I got another text saying the installer was on his way and it included his picture (never had that from any other service)! I appreciate being kept informed. When Conrad arrived he saw the challenges of my finished basement around the furnace, but he was up to the task and even laughed at my jokes (not always easy to do). He got the job done and it looks great!

I was concerned about my furnace. It hadn't been maintained properly (I'm guilty as charged!). We had Nat from Ace look at it. He did show why the furnace was working harder than necessary due to the lack of cleaning/maintenance. He got it fixed and working properly. He was as professional and personable as one could hope. Thanks to the great people at Ace Plumbing and Heating, again!!!!
This is second time using Ace Plumbing and from first contact with the office to the tech that showed up, they were polite and easy to deal with. We had our hot water tank go in the morning and they had a tech out right away and we were given three options for getting water flowing again and we chose a new tank. The tech had a new one delivered from their shop and all work was completed around 2pm the same day. They were fast and clean and easy to deal with. Would not hesitate to call to call them again.
ACE came to our rescue to fix a major issue in our brand new house. Where the builder failed, ACE succeeded. The job was massive and involved opening ceiling and walls and adding a missing recirculating line. They attended our house twice before the job to properly create a game plan to cause as little damage as possible.
Nat from ACE arrived on the day he said he would at the he said he would. He spent hours setting up protection through our house to make sure everything was protected. He then fixed the problem quickly and with a great attitude. He took the time to explain what he was doing, why he was doing it and answered all questions I had. He was an all-around great guy.
The job was estimated to take four days and it was exactly as ACE estimated. The job turned out perfectly and we couldn't be happier with the quality and service.
Our furnace journey started with a broken furnace in -30 weather, several visits from other furnace companies, and a visit from Brian who diagnosed our problem and provided a couple of solutions. We tried a few self repairs after his visit and once we decided that a new furnace was the best fix, we got several quotes: 1 from a well known big company, 2 from local neighbourhood companies, and Ace.
We went with Ace on four major factors: Brian's honest and straightforward attitude, Beth's (she's the lovely lady you talk to when you call) willingness to provide any information we needed, the company's availability of a Canadian manufactured furnace with parts available in Canada, and a recommendation from our neighbour.
The team at Ace has been exceptional; answering any questions we've had (even after installation and payment) and sending someone over when we heard a weird noise. They've made sure everything is working as it should and everyone we've dealt with has been friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend them for any HVAC needs (we're planning to have them out in the spring to look at our A/C even though they didn't install it).
