Having served as a Commanding Officer for RCSCC Undaunted Sea Cadets, I understand firsthand the dedication, commitment, and sacrifice our veterans and active service members make to safeguard our freedoms and values. Join me as I reflect on the resilience and honor of these individuals who have devoted themselves to something much greater than themselves on November 11,2024.
Through my years with the Sea Cadets, I witnessed young Canadians grow in strength and character, embracing the values of discipline, teamwork, and service to country. I’ve seen how military service instills a sense of responsibility and purpose, qualities that these veterans carry into every facet of their lives. Many go on to serve their communities in new ways, bringing their unwavering commitment to industries like ours, strengthening our neighborhoods and local businesses.
Here at Ace Plumbing, we take immense pride in honoring veterans, especially those who have found a new calling in skilled trades, contributing to our industry and community. The dedication they bring to their work reminds us all of the importance of unity and the strength of character required to serve.
On this Remembrance Day, I encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect and express gratitude. Whether through a donation at your local store, a thank you, a moment of silence, or a more personal gesture, recognizing the sacrifices made by these individuals helps keep their legacy alive.
