In 2001 Ace Plumbing was purchased by Simcor Plumbing Corporation. Owned and operated by Jack DeVetten

Jacks father was a plumber and a pipefitter who was always in need of a pair of extra hands. ] Jack worked with his father for years while he completed his schooling. Jack developed his skills as a plumbing apprentice in the 1980’s and completed his Master Plumbing Certification in 1991. He worked in several different areas of plumbing including:industrial, commercial, new residential construction, residential heating and residential service. During his apprenticeship he worked several large projects in Calgary and Southern Alberta. He worked on the freezing lines of the bob sleigh and luge run, the Bearspaw water treatment plant, Sheerness electrical generating plant and the Lethbridge regional hospital.

He completed his apprenticeship while working for Double D Plumbing. In 1995 he purchased the assets of this company and started Simcor Plumbing Corp. This company quickly flourished and Jacks reputation grew for being an honest and fair businessman. Jack had always had a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. This led him to search for a plumbing service company.

Jacks vision includes hiring technicians who were either indentured apprentices or journeymen,clean and courteous with back ground checks so the clients could be assured of professional workmanship, friendly service and the safety of their family and home.

He also believes in solid warranties that ensure clients peace of mind , not just for the parts that were installed but also to ensure superior workmanship. A 24 hour a day service so that his clients are re-assured they were protected in emergency situations. He believes that his clients should be happy with the service of his company so he adopted “Happy Today or You Don’t Pay” as the saying for his company.
